Experience sharing based on Gincoin (GIN) mining techniques

GINcoin is a solution for those who want to set up a master node. The idea of this coin is to let those many cryptocurrency investors who want to set up master nodes to miss the opportunity when they lack the technical skills to set up these nodes. Gincoin changes this status quo by allowing users to use a simple GUI software to set up any token master node.

I did notice that so far, they have only used software to build their own GINcoin master node, but in the future, they say it will work with all blockchains.

Now that we know the details of GINcoin, let's explore some of how this coin can be mined!

Some general mining techniques

Before we start this tutorial, I have two tips to make the most of your mining experience. First of all, make sure that your GPU has the latest drivers. Second, most mining software will be marked as viruses from virus scanners. Because of this, if you are mining on a computer that is used daily or installed with anti-virus software, you will want to exclude the mining software from the anti-virus software. What I like to do is, I make a folder, and then put all the mining software in subfolders. Then I excluded the top-level folder of anti-virus software and excluded all mining software.

Mining pool

The first thing we need is a mining pool. You can be alone, but this may take months, depending on how powerful your mining equipment is, and mining pools usually charge a very small fee (1% or less). Using a pool will allow you to receive consistent payments multiple times a day.

In this tutorial, we will use se https://arcpool.com/. I chose this pool because the cost of the pool is very low (0.5%)

As for their characteristics, there is a medium-sized pool with many different tokens.

Now that we have a pool, let's start mining!

CPU mining

Compared with GPU mining, we will not focus on CPU mining because it has no profitability.

GPU mining-Nvidia

For GPU, Nvidia has many programs, but the best one I found is CCminer. This miner has no development fees. This mining software is compatible with Windows and Linux, but only pre-compiled binaries are available for Windows.

You can find the official page and download link in the https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/ release.

After downloading, it is very simple to use.

Just create a new batch file (or script file) in the folder where the miner is located, and paste it into the batch file

ccminer-x64.exe -a algorithm -o stratum + tcp: // mining_pool: port -u wallet_public_key -pc = coin_symbol

An algorithm stratum+tcp://mining_pool:port Replace "algorithm" with the algorithm you want to use. In this case, we must use "lyra2z"

Replace "for "mining pool" with eu1.arcpool.com

Change "port" to 1739

Replace "wallet_public_key" with your wallet address.

Replace "coin symbol" with GIN

For example, my settings are: ccminic-x64.exe-l-lyra2z-o stratum+tcp://://eu1.arcpool.com:1739 -u -u GJLMv61DNavSxA2FUvFAKxQxj9Bx6Jurxf -pc=GIN

Double-click the batch file to run the mining program, you should see the following

The red arrow indicates that the GPU is detected in your system.

The green arrow indicates the total speed for your GPU.

The blue arrows indicate GPU clock speed, hashes per watt, total power usage, temperature and fan speed.

GPU mining-AMD

There are many AMD programs for GPU mining, but one of the best I found is a sgminer, which includes the lyra2z mining algorithm. There is no development fee for mining software. This mining software is compatible with Windows and Linux, but only pre-compiled binaries are available for Windows.

You can download it at https://github.com/djm34/sgminer-msvc2015/releases. After downloading, it is very easy to use.

Just create a new batch file (or script file, if using Linux) in the folder where the miner is located, and paste it into the batch file.

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1

setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100

setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

sgminer -k algorithm -o stratum + tcp: // mining_pool: port -u wallet_public_key -pc = coin_symbol

Replace "algorithm" with the algorithm you want to use. In this case, we must use "lyra2Z"

Replace "for "mining pool" with eu1.arcpool.com

Change "port" to 1739

Replace "wallet_public_key" and mark your wallet address.

Replace "coin symbol" with GIN

For example, my setting is: stratum+tcp://:/eu1.arcpool.com:1739 -u -u GJLMv61DNavSxA2FUvFAKxQxj9Bx6Jurxf -pc=GIN

Double-click the batch file to run the mining program, you should see the following

The total speed shown in the red box is the combination of all GPUs.

The blue box shows the temperature, fan speed and total speed of each GPU.

If there is a problem, you may not have enough virtual memory. You may need 16GB of virtual memory to change this, then go to the control panel. From there, click Settings under the Advanced tab. Next click "Change", and then uncheck "Automatic Management" on the third screen, select "Custom Size", and then type the size of the two text boxes (in MB). Then press the set button, and then the OK button.

General troubleshooting

One thing to monitor is obsolescence or rejection of stocks. If you see many stale shares, you may want to try a server closer to you. If you see a lot of rejected stocks, try to reduce the intensity of the miners.

How much can I earn every day?

To solve this problem, you can visit http://whattomine.com. Use their calculator to calculate. The calculator does provide a rough estimate, so you may get a higher or lower amount than the calculator actually says. In this example, the GIN calculator is located at https://whattomine.com/coins/250-gin-lyra2zThe.

Most of the values have been entered correctly, and then you only need to edit a few values.

Hash rate: Enter your total speed (in kilohertz per second) for all mining computers. This will be the "total speed" value in your mining software. Be sure to add up all the computers you use for GIN mining.

Electricity: Enter the total power (in watts) that your mining rig is in use. Some mining software will measure this for you. You can also use dedicated software or a kilowatt meter to measure the total power consumption of the computer. I prefer to use a kilowatt meter because I find it to be the most accurate. Be sure to add up all the computers you use for GIN mining.

Cost: Enter the cost per kilowatt hour you pay to the power company. I can find this information on my monthly bill and on their website.

Pool fee: Enter pool fee + miner software development fee. For our example, you would enter 0.5 + 0 = 0.5

Hardware cost: Enter the total cost of all hardware into all your hardware.

Take my AMD Vega system as an example, I will show you how to read these data. In the picture above, there are 3 things I am really looking for.

#1 Difficulty seeing for 24 hours and difficult for 7 days. We want them to stay the same, they are just that. This tells us that the calculation we will look at in the second image below will be accurate in the next few days as long as the price does not fluctuate.

#2 Look at the market cap of the 24th hour of EX. Generally speaking, the larger these scales, the smaller the price fluctuations. We hope that the price will not fluctuate so that our calculations can be accurate to the next few days. In this example, the market cap is small, so the price changes greatly every day.

Take a look at Create 1 BTC in and Break in. It is always interesting to see how long it takes your mining equipment to produce 1 Bitcoin. Even so, it will give you a rough estimate of how long it will take you to pay off your mining equipment by mining this special token. Before you build mining equipment, this is very useful to see how long it will take you to see profits.

In this picture, we can quickly see how many tokens and dollars we will generate in a specific time frame. You want to look at the profit column because this is the value after paying your electricity bill. I usually only focus on daily expenditures in dollars. As long as you focus on this number, you can use a calculator to calculate several different tokens, and then quickly see which token is the most profitable for your mining equipment. Remember, you also want to use market value to measure your daily expenses. A token with a low market capitalization may one day be very profitable, and then it can get half of the return tomorrow.

That's it. You should be able to go mining now! Make sure to enter your public key in the mining pool’s dashboard to track your statistics.

Absolute Encoder

Absolute rotary Encoder measure actual position by generating unique digital codes or bits (instead of pulses) that represent the encoder`s actual position. Single turn absolute encoders output codes that are repeated every full revolution and do not output data to indicate how many revolutions have been made. Multi-turn absolute encoders output a unique code for each shaft position through every rotation, up to 4096 revolutions. Unlike incremental encoders, absolute encoders will retain correct position even if power fails without homing at startup.
