Gemalto (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO) announced two laser personalization innovations to further enhance the security of official identity documents.
These advanced security features are immediately available as an option for the Gemalto Color Laser Shield* Secure Identity Solution Series and are supported by major personalization device brands.
Color laser engraving is the safest way to personalize documents. It has won the trust of many government agencies around the world and will continue this development momentum in 2018.
In addition to the use of four-color lasers for very sharp color portraits, these two new security features are now available for polycarbonate documents such as national ID cards, passports, health insurance cards, driver's licenses, election cards and residence permits.
The new enhanced features are sophisticated and sophisticated, while government staff can easily implement them on the ground. These features prevent counterfeiting and allow workers to easily verify their authenticity, providing greater convenience to legal holders.
Color Variable Microtext adds color to your personalized miniature text, a powerful level 2 security feature (visible with a magnifying glass).
