40.5kv Outdoor High Voltage Fuse for Transformer

RXWO,RW series of outdoor high voltage fuse is applied for the protection of short circuit and overload of power transformer and electrical transmission line.
The fuse is made of fusion tube, porcelain sheath, fastening flange, support insulator, terminal cap etc., separately fix the terminal cap and fusion tube in the porcelain sheath by the press fitting, and then use the fastening flange to fit the porcelain sheath on the bar support insulator.
The fusion tube adopts the material of high content of oxide silicon as the arc-extinguishing medium, and apply small-diameter metal wire as fusion wire. When the overload current or the short circuit current pass through the fusion tube, the fusion wire is broken promptly, the electric arc occurs in a few parallel-connection gaps, and the metal steam in the arc infiltrates into the quartz sand, and it's liberated strongly, then puts out the electric arc quickly. So this fuse has a good performance and large breaking capacity.

- Ambient temperature: -40 ºC ~ 40 ºC;
- The altitude does not exceed 1000m;
- The wind speed is not more than 35 m/s
- Earthquake intensity does not exceed 8 degrees;
- No fire or explosion site, no violent vibration, no electrochemical gas effect and seriously polluted air, salt-spray area
