Determination of benzene in air by thermal desorption
Indoor air pollution is increasingly valued by the whole society, and indoor air pollution research has become an important research content of environmental science workers. With the widespread use of chemicals and various decorative materials, the variety of indoor volatile organic compounds (VOCs) is increasing, so the use of total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) as an indicator of indoor air quality (IAQ) is proposed. Evaluate the health and discomfort effects of VOCs. Due to the constraints of objective conditions, domestic monitoring and research on indoor volatile toxic gas VOCs is far less than formaldehyde and other pollutants. Mainly because the source of indoor VOCs is closely related to human activities, the composition is very complicated, and the instruments for monitoring and analysis are also very expensive. However, its harm can not be ignored, including benzene, vinyl chloride, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and other carcinogens; and the VOCs in the air that people call every day are a mixture of hundreds of organic gases, which directly lead to air uncleanness and discomfort. Its synergistic effects have yet to be studied. This paper conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis of TVOC in different types of indoor air, and provides valuable basic data for research and evaluation of indoor air pollution.
