Li Dongsheng, president of China Electronics Video Industry Association, said that at present, the total sales volume of color TVs made in China accounts for 55% of the total global sales, reaching more than 72 million units. It is the undisputed world's largest producer and seller of color TVs, but due to lack of core The constraints of technological capabilities and intellectual property rights, corporate capital expansion capabilities and weak global business capabilities have made China's color TV companies far less competitive than international competitors. Changhong, Skyworth, TCL and other domestic color TV giants are fully aware of this. One point, they joined forces to promote the success of the summit.
According to reports, the core content of the cooperation between the nine giants of color TV is intellectual property rights. In the future, the nine giants will organize domestic color TV enterprises through the China Electronic Video Industry Association to actively participate in and promote the formulation of major domestic and international technical standards, and promote the standardization of new technologies. Industrialization, at the same time set up China's color TV patent pool, integrate China's color TV technology resources, and negotiate and solve the common patent issues facing each other.
