1. Overview (DescripTIon): |
LM386 is an audio power amplifier produced by National Semiconductor, which is mainly used in low-voltage consumer products. In order to minimize the external components, the voltage gain is built in at 20. But by adding an external resistor and capacitor between pin 1 and pin 8, the voltage gain can be adjusted to any value up to 200. The input terminal is referenced by status, and the output terminal is automatically biased to half of the power supply voltage. At 6V power supply voltage, its static power consumption is only 24mW, making the LM386 particularly suitable for battery-powered occasions. The package of LM386 includes plastic 8-lead dual in-line and SMD. |
