Guangdong's first LED lighting product benchmark index was officially launched at the "Guangdong LED Lighting Product Benchmarking Index Conference" held in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. As a major province of the LED industry, Guangdong has taken the lead in implementing the dynamic assessment of the quality of LED street lighting technology.
The rapid development of the LED lighting industry in the world's emerging industries has brought about the dilemma of standard formulation and revision. Guangdong is one of the important LED industry bases in China. It has been in the forefront of the country in promoting the popularization and application of LED lighting, since the beginning of 2009. The “Ten Thousand Miles†high-power LED street lamp industrialization demonstration and promotion project was launched, and remarkable achievements have been made in breaking through the technical, capital and market bottlenecks of industrial development. This year, the Guangdong Science and Technology Department has set up a major science and technology special plan for “Guangdong Province Green Lighting Demonstration Cityâ€. When large-scale promotion of LED street lamps, it has encountered many problems in the process of formulation and revision of standards. Some indicators even face the situation that the standard is outdated, which makes the lack of scientific evaluation of the quality of LED street lamps, which directly affects the progress of promotion.
To this end, led by the Guangdong Province Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Provincial Federation of Industry, Education and Research Innovation Alliance, the Foshan Research Institute of Sun Yat-sen University, Guangdong Provincial Institute of Standardization, Guangdong Province Technology and Economic Research and Development Center, Guangdong Province Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, organized and implemented Major research project on the research and implementation of benchmarking index for green lighting demonstration cities in Guangdong Province. The core of the project is in the field of LED lighting industry. In view of the insufficient development of LED lighting emerging industry technology and rapid technological advancement, we select product indicators that are considered to have “significant relationship†with the quality of LED lighting products, and pass benchmarking index. Relatively determine the product quality, and thus establish an innovative dynamic LED lighting product quality evaluation system, combined with third-party testing and unified platform evaluation, the current LED lighting products on the market first from the street lights, quality and energy efficiency evaluation And targeting ratings. The testing methods and standards will be dynamically updated according to the latest published standards and technical methods at home and abroad.
This method will help to abandon the dispute and solve the common problems encountered in the current LED lighting product quality supervision, testing technology development and platform integration. Breaking through the current imperfect standards in the development of LED lighting industry, the detection methods can not keep up with the bottleneck of technological development. Establish a dynamic updated product benchmarking index and product standard testing and certification system to make LED lighting products achieve breakthroughs in public technology such as standards, certification, testing, etc., and provide a scientific quality assessment system for selecting products in Guangdong green lighting demonstration cities.
