Tencent Digital (Compile: Hamish) Most Chromebooks currently on the market are powered by Intel processors. In fact, the entire laptop and desktop market has basically been occupied by Intel. However, Intel has not achieved a breakthrough in the field of mobile computing. Now it seems that this situation continues.
According to the latest report, Acer will soon launch a Chromebook with MediaTek processor. MediaTek has demonstrated last year that Chromebooks can run ARM-based processors.
The Chromebook mentioned in the report is the Acer Chromebook R13. It is equipped with 16GB/32GB of memory and supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. We do not know the other hardware configuration of this computer yet. In addition, at present we do not know whether it will use a similar R11 variant of the design.
According to sources, this notebook is expected to be officially unveiled at the IFA conference a few months later. Next, we will closely monitor the relevant information.
