What is OLED?

Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) is an organic light-emitting diode (also known as organic electro-laser display). It is an abbreviation for Organic Light-emitting diode in English. It was discovered by a Chinese-American professor Deng Qingyun in a laboratory, and the OLED research was started. It is considered a new generation of display technology that can replace traditional LED technology. According to their driving methods are divided into active drive (AM OLED) and passive drive (PM OLED).

OLED features

OLED display technology differs from traditional LCD display methods in that it does not require a backlight, uses a very thin organic material coating, and has a glass substrate. When an electric current passes through, these organic materials emit light.
