The recent expansion plans for LED upstream operators in Taiwan have slowed or deferred. Among them, Jingdian was expected to complete the expansion plan of Blu-ray epitaxial and UHB ultra-high-brightness LEDs at the end of the second quarter of this year, but the deferral was completed until August and September this year. The monthly capacity expansion of the blue LED segment also slowed down. Yuanyuan originally ordered this year's Blu-ray epitaxial capacity to expand to 600 KK, but currently only expanded to 400 KK, the follow-up progress has not yet been determined. As for the completion of the first phase of expansion in the first half of this year, Taigu has a production capacity of 30,000 pieces per month, and there is no expansion plan in the second half of the year.
Jingdian originally expected that the capacity of Blu-ray epitaxy will be expanded to 1300 KK-1400 KK at the end of the second quarter of this year, but it is actually deferred until August of this year. The monthly capacity of the middle section is currently only expanded to 1100 KK. The UHB ultra-high-brightness LED expansion plan, which was originally expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter, plans to increase the monthly production capacity from 80 KK to 160 KK, and it has only been deferred until September this year. As for the quaternary LED, the production capacity has not been fully loaded, so there is no expansion plan this year.
The Yuanyuan was originally expected to expand the capacity of Blu-ray Epitaxial to 600 KK this year, but it has only expanded to 400 KK. It is understood that the follow-up progress is still uncertain. As for Taigu, which actively adjusted its product mix this year, after the completion of the first phase of capacity expansion at the end of the second quarter, the current production capacity of Leijing is about 30,000 pieces, and there is no expansion plan in the second half of the year.
