TT Electronics today unveiled a new line of Precision Water Insoluble Nitride ( WIN ) resistors . The new WIN series of thin film chip resistors use advanced metal film technology to provide extremely high precision and signal processing applications. Level of reliability and stability.
The WIN series resistors feature a water-insoluble nitride film that resists moisture to address the fragile moisture resistance of nickel-chromium alloys and passivated nickel-chromium alloy resistors. Previously these problems could only be solved with high-cost military grade tantalum nitride products. This inherent moisture resistance means that users no longer have to rely on expensive assembly-level sealing or packaging production processes.
The new WIN series also features high stability, predictable resistance offset and high reliability over the life, even in the presence of abnormally high humidity or contaminated environments or device protection. This is due to its self-passivation ability to form a very stable oxide layer, and the protection resistor does not suffer from moisture failure associated with Nichrome resistive films.
The resistors are available in 0603, 0805, and 1206 sizes with power ratings of 0.1 watts, 0.25 watts, and 0.33 watts, with resistance values ranging from 10 ohms to 1 mega ohm, accuracy of +0.1%, and temperature drift of +25 ppm/°C. These features combined with vulcanization resistant electrodes make the WIN Series ideal for mission critical applications in the medical, aerospace and industrial environments.
Draw-wire sensors of the wire sensor series measure with high linearity across the entire measuring range and are used for distance and position measurements of 100mm up to 20,000mm. Draw-wire sensors from LANDER are ideal for integration and subsequent assembly in serial OEM applications, e.g., in medical devices, lifts, conveyors and automotive engineering.
