ABB's electrical business grows 30% in 2011 and will focus on organic growth in the future

ABB Group achieved a record growth in 2011 with an increase in sales of 21%, of which the electricity business grew by 11%, while the automation business grew by 30%. Under the strategy of “in China and for China”, ABB China’s export growth exceeded 50% in 2011, and investment turned a new record, reaching a record high of US$230 million.

Fang Qin, ABB North Asia and president of ABB (China) Co., Ltd., said that although 2012 is full of uncertainties, ABB is ready. ABB has released a five-year medium-term strategic plan for the period 2011-2015. The core of the plan is to strengthen its competitive advantage, make full use of the general trend of energy efficiency, renewable energy, urbanization, industrial upgrading, and actively expand its core business, including principled mergers and acquisitions. Uncover subversive opportunities.

Beijing, March 7, 2012 - ABB China announced today its annual results in China after ABB’s headquarters released its 2011 financial report not long ago. In 2011, ABB’s sales and investment growth in China were all record high, with sales reaching US$5.1 billion, a 21% increase over the previous year; and the investment amounted to US$230 million, which has doubled from usual.

ABB head of North Asia, chairman and president of ABB (China) Co., Ltd. Fang Qin ABB North Asia and president of ABB (China) Co., Ltd. Fang Qin said at today’s press conference: “Although economic growth began in 2011 Slow, but thanks to strong market demand for automation and grid reliability, ABB has achieved sustained growth in China."

Fang Qin said: "In all industries, higher levels of automation are needed to improve energy efficiency, quality, productivity, occupational health and safety. China's "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" launched last year also seeks to shift China's economy from a resource-intensive one. Low-carbon and knowledge-based, this plan is clearly already under implementation."

“The reason why ABB has the opportunity to do its best for the transformation of the Chinese economy is due to the continuous increase of investment in technology and production capacity for a long time to fully implement the company’s strategy of 'in China and China'. In the past 6 years, ABB has been in China. The average annual investment is over 100 million U.S. dollars. Last year, in order to support the company's resource allocation and establish strong cooperation with leading local companies, ABB has significantly increased its investment in China," said Fang Qin.

As early as 2005, ABB became the first multinational company to develop and manufacture robotics in China, and provided automated manufacturing solutions based on robotics for automobile manufacturing and many other industries, helping China's own OEM brands Great Wall Motors and other automobiles. The company enhances automation and production capacity. For the electronics industry, ABB has introduced a number of new robotic applications including stamping, laser welding, laser marking, polishing, etc., helping customers to effectively improve the quality and efficiency of production in China while reducing labor costs.

ABB established the world's largest integrated analytical system production base in Shanghai two years ago. It has developed and provided related projects for Sinopec, PetroChina, Yangzi Petrochemical, BASF Polyurethanes, BASF, Dow Corning, Shell and Celanese. A large number of "analysis huts". Many "analysis houses" are also exported to the Middle East and Africa.

As the forerunner in the field of process automation, ABB's motors and inverters that adhere to the world's highest energy efficiency standards not only create tangible results for the company, but also help customers save energy and reduce consumption. ABB has helped save electricity by 138 billion kWh in the past 14 years through the use of motors and frequency converters for Chinese customers. According to the level of electricity consumption of Beijing residents in 2010, it is equivalent to 194 million people using electricity for one year.

Fang Qin said that ABB has established a close relationship with customers by providing customers with product packages that meet specific application needs, systems that meet specific industry needs, and one-stop automated business services covering products, product packages, systems, and services.

In China, the use of high-efficiency, low-emission UHV DC transmission technology has become an important part of the national West-to-East electricity transmission plan because electricity production is far from the center of power load. As the inventor of the HVDC technology, ABB successfully won the bid for the State Grid and China Southern Power Grid Company's major projects in 2011, including the 800 kV UHV DC lines (7,200 MW, 2,090 km) from Jinping, Jiangsu to Jiangsu, South Jiangsu, and Yunnan, China. 800 kV UHV DC line (5000 MW, 1451 km) to Jiangmen, Guangdong.

In addition to supporting the development of renewable energy, environmental protection is also an important part of ABB's business. In 2011, ABB won multiple orders and participated in multiple water treatment projects in Hong Kong and Yunnan.

2011 was a milestone year for ABB to work together with important local leaders. ABB and Guodian South have jointly established a large-scale joint venture, Nanjing SAC Automation Co., Ltd., to strengthen the product portfolio in the areas of power grids, power plants and industrial infrastructure. The two-way joint venture invested a total of 1.75 billion yuan, and merged the power grid automation related businesses.

Fang Qin, who has been working in China for two years, said: “Local cooperation is crucial to ABB and is an important part of our efforts to expand our market in China in the past 20 years.”

In 2011, ABB added more than 2,000 employees in China. The company provides employees with many opportunities for internal work exchanges at home and abroad, and increased investment in training of 18,000 employees by 80%.

ABB's business in China exports more than 40 countries. In 2011, its export business sales increased by more than 50%. "With the strong R&D, engineering and manufacturing capabilities established in China, as well as ABB's global resources and brands, ABB has become the preferred supplier of Chinese companies to the world," says Fang Qin.

Speaking of 2012, Fang Qin said: “In the past six months, we have felt a slowdown in economic growth, especially in real estate, railways, and shipbuilding. 2012 will be a year of new challenges, but I believe The Chinese market will continue to maintain rapid growth, and we will continue to adhere to investment technology and talent development."

ABB is a global leader in power and automation technology. ABB is committed to helping power, utilities and industrial customers improve their performance while reducing their impact on the environment. ABB Group has operations in more than 100 countries and employs 135,000 people. ABB has a full range of business activities in China including R&D, manufacturing, sales, and engineering services. It has 18,300 employees, 35 local companies, and sales and service networks in 80 cities across the country.

The lift of water pump is used to overcome altitude and resistance, high lift mean that, in water cooling computer system, water pump overcome the pipe resistance power is stronger. It can apply to all kinds of the complex water channel pipe, promote heat dissipation wonderfully. The lift is the main standard to measure the performance of a pump. Lift refers to the maximum height the pump can push water to when the flow is zero.
The water pump with high lift, it is suitable for complex waterway. If it has a lot of the Water Block in the waterway , recommand use the high lift water pump.
