The concept of “light of the river†lighting design comes from rivers, water, light, color, and their close connection with the original development of the city of Valladolid. Valladolid, the city of their origin and development, is the basis of their historical and philosophical significance. "Light of the River" conveys information about memory and knowledge, new trends and culture, growth and vitality, life and movement.
Due to its historical importance, we have re-sculpted the memories and impressions of the Esgueva River. The 19th century Esgueva River originated in the heart of the city and has a long history. This remodeling, EsguevaRiver is just a return to the city in the sense. This virtual river guides visitors through the illuminated roads of Valladolid, showing its past and present history and culture step by step, showing its richness.
The purpose of this route lighting design is to provide everything the user needs. Subjective factors, visual comfort, energy and economic factors are emphasized and well thought out. Based on this premise and consideration, lighting must adapt to the crowd, creating an effective lighting with high aesthetic value, beautifying the city of Valladolid at night.
The sidewalks in the “Light of the River†lighting scheme are cross-connected to different areas of the Valladolid Center, each of which encompasses the surrounding environment of buildings, monuments, streets and plazas.
The lighting design implemented in the area includes the organization and coordination of the environment. Coordinate the color of the light source, reduce the light intensity, create as many “light and shadow†as possible, and increase the intensity of night lighting.
