What should you pay attention to when installing and maintaining a thermal relay?

Installation and maintenance of thermal relays should generally pay attention to the following aspects:

(1) Must be installed in the manner specified in the product manual. When it is installed with other electrical appliances, the thermal relay should be installed under other electrical appliances to prevent its operating characteristics from being affected by the heat of other electrical appliances.

(2) Dust and dirt should be removed regularly on a daily basis. If rust spots appear in the bimetal, use a cotton cloth to rub gently with gasoline, and avoid sanding with sandpaper.

(3) Check the power supply once a year. When a short circuit fault occurs in the main circuit, check that the heating element and the bimetal have been permanently deformed. If deformation occurs or judgment cannot be made, the power-on test should be performed. Never bend the bimetal during adjustment.
