1. When the tool terminates the information module, you need to use the cable preparation tool and the wire bonding tool. The cable preparation tool is also called a stripping knife. Its main function is to peel off the insulation outside the twisted pair. Using it for stripping is not only faster than using a crimping tool, but it is also safer and generally does not damage the insulation of the wrapped core. The wire bonding tool is used to push the twisted pair into the module and cut off the excess wire ends.

2. Termination of information socket

In the first step, pull the twisted pair cable out of the wiring back box and cut it to the appropriate length. Use a cable preparation tool to strip the insulation layer and then cut off the tensile wire with scissors.

In the second step, the RJ-45 interface of the information module is placed down on a hard surface such as a desktop or a wall.

In the third step, separate the four pairs of wires in the network cable, but do not disassemble the wires. According to the line sequence indicated on the information module, put the wires into the corresponding slots one by one. Normally, the module has two line sequences 568A and 568B at the same time. The user should use the same line sequence as other connected devices according to the wiring design rules, which is generally T568B standard connection. Otherwise it must be clearly marked. According to the T568B standard connection method, the information socket pin (foot) and twisted pair cable pair are distributed as follows: line pair 1 (blue-4, white blue-5), line pair 2 (white orange-1, orange - 2), line pair 3 (white green-3, green-6), line pair 4 (white brown-7, brown-8).

In the fourth step, align the cutting edge of the wire-punching tool with the wire slot and the wire on the information module, and apply the force vertically downwards. When the “click” is heard, the extra line outside the module will be cut. Repeat this operation, you can enter 8 cores into the slot of the corresponding color one by one.

In the fifth step, insert the plastic dustproof piece of the module into the module along the notch and firmly fix it on the information module. The module is terminated.

In the sixth step, the information module is inserted into the corresponding slot in the information panel, and then the panel is firmly fixed on the bottom box of the information socket to complete the termination of the information socket.

What is the difference between information outlets and data outlets?

The difference between the data socket and the information socket is that the information socket panel has voice, data, cable television, and blind boards for plugging holes, which are commonly used. The data socket generally refers to the network cable. The network cable belongs to the copper wire transmission and uses the RJ45 port. The fiber socket belongs to the light transmission, and the fiber adapter is used for the connection. The in-line type belongs to the ceramic structure.
