Sales revenue exceeded 10 trillion in the era of rapid development of electronic information

According to the statistical bulletin of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the sales revenue of China's electronic information industry exceeded the 10 trillion yuan mark in the past year, reaching 11.0 trillion yuan, an increase of more than 15%.

In 2012, China's electronic information industry sales revenue reached 11 trillion yuan, an increase of more than 15%; among them, the manufacturing industry above designated size achieved revenue of 8461.9 billion yuan, an increase of 13.0% year-on-year; the software industry realized revenue of 2.5022 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.5%.

In 2012, the added value of China's electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 12.1%, 2.1 percentage points higher than the industrial average of the same period; the growth rate of income, profit, and tax was higher than the industrial average of 2.0, 0.9, and 9.9 percentage points respectively, in the industrial economy. The leading and pillar roles in China are further highlighted.

The data shows that China's manufacturing power has become increasingly stable. In 2012, China's electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size realized sales of 8504.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.6%. The output of major products such as mobile phones, computers, color TV sets, and integrated circuits reached 1.18 billion, 350 million, 130 million, and 82.31 billion, respectively, an increase of 4.3%, 10.5%, 4.8%, and 14.4% year-on-year; mobile phones, computers, and color TVs. The proportion of global shipments exceeds 50%, and it firmly holds the top position in the world.
